The documentary presents the songs, dances and games in the island of Paros, (Cycladic archipelago), that are observed from late winter to early summer. The customs of Ageranos dance and songs, Kounia (Swing) songs, May’s wreaths, St John’s fires and Clydon, are related to pairing and marriage, resurrection and purification, fertility and sex. Men and women from Paros recall the songs and describe the rites while youths recreate them. Performance by singer Kyriaki Spanos and the Dance Group of Naousa-Paros. The narrator informs about identical ancient greek customs such as the delian dance of Geranos, the athenian feast of Aeora, the fires of Thargilia etc.
